Coconut sugar is a completely natural sugar extracted from the fresh coconut tree sap, collected from the cut flower buds. The coconut sugar is produced by boiling and dehydrating the sugary fluid from very young flower clusters of the coconut palm. The sap is heated to evaporate moisture, resulting in the crystal or granular form of sugar. Coconut sugar has a lower glycemic index compared to refined sugar, therefore it helps to maintain a healthy blood glucose level. This can be used as an alternative for white and refined sugar. Unrefined and unprocessed, it is considered to be healthier than other refined and chemical sweetener options.

Health Benefits of Coconut Sugar
